Sam Calagione Talks Dogfish Head and Sam Adams Craft Beer Mega Merger

A Boston Dogfish?!

The Great American Beer Festival is about the craziness that surrounds sampling thousands of beers from across the country, of course. But it’s also about the business behind the beer.

And for us, it was a chance to chat with the legendary Sam Calagione, founder of Dogfish Head, regarding the recent merger of his brewery with Boston Beer Company (home of Sam Adams) A bit star struck, Ken does manage to keep it together enough to chat with one of the biggest names in the craft beer industry.

We’d love to hear from you.

Sam says they’re still a David to AB InBev’s Goliath. Do you still consider them craft? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
