The Colorado Collab Fest Beer List for the 2026 Colorado Brewers Guild Collaboration Festival is taking shape. The Guild (CBG) will be announcing the 120+ beers from a record-setting 160+ different participating breweries! The brewfest takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at The Westin Westminster, in Westminster, Colorado, just north of Denver proper.
“Collaboration Fest is a creative cross-pollination of breweries, which creates a unique celebration of craft beer,” says CBG Communications Manager Carrie Knose Wilson. “Craft brewers champion each other through sharing best practices, supplies, and ingredients, and the result is what you see at the festival.”

The Colorado Collab Fest is one of the best beer festivals in Colorado and a top community building festival in the country. The Colorado Brewers Guild fosters an event that brings at least two, and many times more, breweries together. They are tasked with brewing a one-off beer or two, which are unleashed at the festival. When these unique brews are gone, they’re gone for good!
Colorado Beer Media Collab with River North Brewery and Strange Craft Beer Co
While the complete beer list is not out yet, we can tell you what we’ve been up to at Living a Stout Life and Strange Craft Beer Co.
The first is in conjunction with Colorado beer media, River North, and Strange Craft.
Above the Fold – the name invokes the eye-catching headline or photo that draws you in to the page, inviting you to learn more. This beer is designed to draw you in with the ‘folded’ flavors of River North’s barrel-aged porter (subject to change) and Strange Craft’s classic Kriek, melded into a feature we know you’ll enjoy. The Colorado Beer Media reached out to these two Colorado stalwarts for a collaboration that deserves headlines. Still, we know it will certainly result in a line to try this newsworthy blend at Collaboration Fest!
Collaboration Beer with Broken Compass Brewing and Strange Craft Beer Co
We can’t just do one collab, so Strange teamed up with Broken Compass in Breckenridge to brew a unique IPA.
Magnetic Anomaly – 6.0% ABV West Coast IPA – What occurs when Strange things happen at Broken Compass? You get a Magnetic Anomaly! Get lost in this hop-heavy West Coast IPA loaded with Comet, Cascade, and Crystal hops from Billy Goat Hop Farms in Montrose, CO, with heavy notes of citrus and lemongrass, and dank undertones.
11 Years Later – Our Magnetic Anomaly aged in bourbon/orange vermouth barrels. Why the name? Because it took these two long-standing breweries 11 years to get together to brew a collab beer! It’s about time. Description coming soon – we can’t wait either!
You can taste these side by side at 2026 Collab Fest – we’re stoked!
Collaboration Beer with Breckenridge Brewery and Strange Craft Beer Co
And one more!
Cherry Chocolate Stout – 8.0% ABV speaking for itself with the flavors. We’re still working on the name and can’t wait to taste test it to give you the full mouth-watering description.
Colorado Collaboration Fest was established in 2014 and was named Best Beer Festival by the 2023 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice travel awards.
What makes Collaboration Fest so special?
So many breweries from Colorado and outside of the state, and the spirit of community, is what makes Colorado Collab Fest one of the most anticipated beer festivals of the year. There is nowhere else you can sample so many unique beers in one place.
It’s hard to narrow it down to the most unique, weirdest, and off-the-wall beer styles that Collab Fest showcases. We can, however, give you a few examples from last year’s festival.
At the 2025 Colorado Collabfest, patrons enjoyed Baltic Porter with Blueberry and Lavender, Raspberry Jalapeño Popper Ale, Vanilla Matcha Lemonade Fizz Ale, SponSponBingBong Finished in Earl Grey Gin Casks, Chili Cherry Honey Kolsch, and Smoked Pulled Pork Stout, amongst many other, umm, weird offerings.
Most of the breweries are from Colorado, but only one of the breweries in the collab has to be from the Centennial State. This year’s fest will see collaboration brews between Colorado breweries alongside brewery and industry friends from at least 20 other states!
Plus, we’ll be there! Come hang out with us in Denver at the 2026 Collaboration Festival at the Westin Westminster. Which, by the way, is a hotel, so you could even get a room and spend the night there. A beer festival and a place to stay all at the same location? We’re in! Are you?
